- Hello Ed! And welcome! I guess I have to admit a certain relationship to Porsches, I comfort myself with the thought of being happy with a 1958 Speedster, which has essentially a souped up VW Bug engine = less speed, less pollution. I was recently looking into electric cars and found some very fun videos on YouTube about rebuilt Porsche 914's; maybe something you want to look into? Anyway, look forward to seeing you here. I have just finished a Masters in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University... I want to go back to uni!
